Achieving Organic Certification for Premier Maple Syrup

When you are in the food manufacturing business, at the end of the day it is about making the best product possible you can make as it is going out to the tables of our consumers.

When you start making syrup and selling it, it does not matter if you produce 10 gallons, or 100,000 gallons of syrup the goal is and has to be to make the best product you can possibly make. And us in the syrup producing community want all our fellow producers to make the same caliber products as us. Because as a whole this is what drives the market for selling our products.
This year we took steps to becoming certified organic in our sugar woods and facilities to help achieve and better our product. To maintain a compliant certification it does cost some money, and good record keeping. But it also holds us accountable as a producer to continue to go above and beyond to deliver a premier product to the market.
Needless to say, we are also happy with this step completed in our business. And from now on you will find on our products the USDA organic label, along with our certifying agents label!
