Tapping into Quality — Powering the North Country with TYM
At North Country Maple Sales & Services LLC, hard work, family values, and quality craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we do. What began nearly four decades ago as a small maple sugaring venture has evolved into a multifaceted business proudly serving the North Country — now as an authorized TYM tractor dealer offering dependable machines built to handle real-world challenges.
TYM Tractors & Equipment You Can Trust
We’re proud to bring the power and precision of TYM tractors to our community. Whether you’re managing farmland, maintaining your property, or running a small operation, TYM’s engineering and value make every job easier and more efficient.
Our growing lineup includes the T254, T25, 2610H, 3025, 4820R, and 574HC — models built to deliver exceptional performance, comfort, and reliability. Backed by our in-house service and support, we’re committed to helping you choose the right tractor and keeping it running strong for years to come.
As we continue to expand our offerings — including Amsoil products and Lapierre maple sugaring equipment — one thing remains constant: our dedication to “Tapping into Quality.”
Rooted in Maple Sugaring Tradition
Our story began in 1984, when Roger Murray crafted his first homemade welded pan and set just 60 taps. That small start marked the beginning of what would become North Country Maple — a family business built on pride, perseverance, and a love of working the land.
By 1988, Roger had expanded to 200 taps and acquired his first commercial evaporator. Through the 1990s and beyond, steady growth and innovation carried the business forward. By 2018, the operation had grown to 4,000 taps, followed by the construction of a new sugarhouse in 2019 and a new sugarbush in 2021, now producing syrup from over 6,000 taps each spring.
Today, our maple syrup remains a symbol of our roots — pure, honest, and made with care.
Expanding the North Country Legacy
Over the years, we’ve cultivated more than just maple trees. In 1987, we planted the first seedlings of Thomas Tree Farm, now home to thousands of evergreens — including Balsam, Douglas Fir, Scotch Pine, Blue Spruce, and the popular Fralsam hybrid. Families from across the region visit each year to find their perfect tree and share in our holiday tradition.
In 2018, we added a sawmill specializing in White Pine and Hemlock, continuing our commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship. In 2022, our love of agriculture grew again with the start of our beef herd, expanding steadily with the goal of raising quality Hereford cattle and offering locally produced beef in the future.
Then, in 2023, we launched North Country Maple Sales & Services LLC — a 4,400-square-foot retail store and service hub offering Lapierre maple equipment, Amsoil products, and now TYM tractors — bringing together all facets of our work under one roof.

At North Country Maple Sales & Services, we’re proud to honor our roots while powering the future — one tap, one tree, and one tractor at a time.
